In the summer of 2025, the Clemens Reutter Foundation rented some of the four Bischofhütten huts for mountain weeks, as it had done in 2012 and 2013. This amounted to a total of eight weeks. Each hut can accommodate 10 people. The owners of the Bischofhütten, the Münzer family, run a farm and offer a children’s adventure programme with numerous opportunities for climbing, riding Haflinger horses and fishing. This offer was also taken advantage of. The nearby summer toboggan run was also visited.
Report 2025 from the SOS Children’s Villages headquarters
In 2025, the Clemens Reutter Foundation enabled almost 70 young people and carers to enjoy wonderful weeks at the Bischofhütten in Bad St. Leonhard in the Lavant Valley.
The aim was to give the children and young people the opportunity to escape their stressful everyday lives, get to know the mountains, enjoy positive experiences in nature, and find relaxation and strength.
