On 9th August 2011 Clemens Reutter died as the result of a tragic car accident in Bolzano, South Tirol, Italy. He was the third of four children and just 23 when he died. An exceptional young man with a friendly, loveable character and a promising future ahead.

Clemens loved sports and the mountains and a combination of the two was perfect, particularly in his home country of Austria. He enjoyed skiing and ski touring, hiking and climbing. In the summer of 2009 he climbed the Grossglockner (3798m) and in June 2011 he climbed to the top of Mont Blanc (4810m) with his friend Philipp Lovrek and his two sisters, Ala and Sissi, in aid of Cancer Research. In July 2011 he was awarded a first class honours degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol and was about to embark on his career.

Clemi’s parents and siblings set up the Clemens Reutter Trust in his Memory.
